GREEN part 2
So, welcome to Green2. This is definately an improvement for me, Now I can see what I write and not have to wait 2 minutes before my text appears.
Well, a lot has happened since my last update. I glued the fretboard to the neck. I stained the side and back because I wanted to see what it would look like. I will paint it eventually but I just couldn't wait...
Because I stained the body, the binding had to be scraped. So I did...
here are some pics to show off...
the routers on the back of the body are counter weights to make sure the guitar wouldn't fall of my work bench... that would be a shame, right?
Here you can see my Green Machine:
it's starting to look like a real guitar! Next time I will stain the back of the neck again. I already did that but I had to sand the sides of the neck and the fret board to get it flush. So I removed some of the stain that was alread on it. Or I will paint it black like the rest of the body. Altough green looks great too!
There are still 2 or 3 spots on the fret board the need to be repaired. After that I can start fretting it ( again). It won't be too long now.. Let's hope the weather will start to get a little warmer soon. The snow was all gone but it started to snow again! I am getting to tired of it.. I WANT SPRINGTIME TO BE HERE!!!
There are stille enough things to do before I am ready for finishing it... updates will be added soon!
later!
